The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of E. 39^th Street is now closed for emergency repairs to a broken water main. 

At this time, E. 39^th Street is closed to through traffic at the intersection of Greenway with detours in effect.  This closure is expected to remain in effect throughout the evening and will impact traffic in this vicinity. 

Motorists are strongly encouraged to plan ahead for the afternoon commute and use alternate routes away from the affected area.
