Traffic Modifications for Weekend Baltimore Orioles Home Games
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that temporary traffic modifications will be in effect for the Baltimore Orioles home games against the Boston Red Sox which will be held this weekend at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
Motorists should be advised that all parking restrictions and residential permit parking regulations will be strictly enforced in the vicinity of the stadium during each game. Patrons who do not have a parking permit for any of the stadium lots are strongly encouraged to use public transportation. With a variety of transit options including the Metro Subway, Light Rail, Park and Ride express bus services, and the Charm City Circulator, fans can easily use mass transit from numerous locations in and around Baltimore.
Baseball fans that drive to the games should utilize commercial parking facilities north of the stadium and avoid parking in area neighborhoods. Transportation Enforcement Officers will enforce all posted parking restrictions and residential permit parking regulations in the vicinity of the stadium. Vehicles parked in violation will be ticketed and towed. Patrons with questions concerning the location of their vehicles should call 311.
In preparation for Friday’s game, the following streets will be closed on Friday, April 29, 2022 starting at approximately 4:00 p.m.:
- Eutaw Street from Pratt to Camden Streets
- Camden Street from Howard to Russell Streets
- Hamburg Street from Russell to Leadenhall Streets
- Washington Boulevard from Paca to Greene Streets
In addition, the following parking restrictions will be implemented on Friday, April 29, 2022 beginning at 4:00 p.m.:
- East side of Greene Street from Lombard Street to Washington Boulevard
- East side of Eutaw Street from Pratt to Lombard Streets
- North side of Conway Street from Charles to Sharp Streets
The road closures and parking restrictions listed above will also be implemented on Saturday, April 30, 2022 starting at approximately 4:00 p.m. and on Sunday, May 1, 2022 starting at approximately 10:00 a.m.
Transportation Enforcement Officers will be stationed at key intersections to assist with the movement of traffic in the downtown area. Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians, especially when approaching designated crosswalks.
Traffic Modifications in Mount Vernon for Flower Mart
This weekend, traffic modifications will be in effect for Flower Mart 2022. The event will take place on Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30, 2022 in the heart of Mount Vernon.
In preparation for the event, the following street and lane closures will be implemented from 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2022 through 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 01, 2022:
- N. Charles Street from Centre to Read Streets
- Madison Street from St. Paul to Cathedral Streets
- Mt. Vernon Place from St. Paul to Cathedral to Streets
- Cathedral Street from Mt. Vernon Place to Centre Street (bike lane & parking lane only)
- Centre Street from Cathedral to N. Charles Streets (bike lane & parking lane)
In addition, parking will be restricted in these areas from 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2022 until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 01, 2022. Parking restrictions will be strictly enforced during this event for the safety of everyone.
Variable message signs will be placed in the area to alert motorists of the closures. Transportation Enforcement Officers (TEO’s) will be posted at critical locations to help facilitate the movement of traffic. Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Lane Closures Along a Portion of Calvert Street
This weekend, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Calvert Street for a crane lift operation.
A temporary lane closure will be implemented along Calvert Street this weekend between Saratoga and Pleasant Streets on the following dates and times, weather permitting:
- Friday, April 28th from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight
- Saturday, April 29th from 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight
- Sunday, May 1st from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight

N. Eutaw Street Overnight Closures
This weekend, a portion of N. Eutaw Street will close overnight for BGE utility work.
On Friday, April 29, Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1, 2022, N. Eutaw Street will close to through traffic overnight between W. Mulberry and W. Saratoga Streets from approximately 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. each night with detours in effect, weather permitting.

Traffic Modifications for the Cardinal Cup 5K
This Saturday, temporary traffic modifications will be implemented for the 28th annual Cardinal Cup 5K Run and 1 Mile Family Fun Walk beginning at 8:00 a.m.
The event will begin and end at the School of the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen. Participants will proceed south on Charles Street, west on Wyndhurst Avenue, north on Roland Avenue and east on Northern Parkway. Runners will then turn right on Charles Street to finish the race back at the School of the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen.
During the event, one lane of travel will be coned off for participants along the race route on Saturday, April 30, 2022 wherever possible. Commuters should be aware that temporary traffic stops will be implemented in this area for the safety of participants.

Park Avenue Temporary 2-Way Traffic Pattern
This Saturday, a portion of Park Avenue will be converted to a temporary 2-way traffic pattern for the Life Bridge Magic Health Gala.
On Saturday, April 30, 2022, Park Avenue will be converted to a 2-way traffic pattern between Cathedral Street and the Symphony Garage starting at approximately 2:00 p.m. This traffic pattern will remain in effect until approximately 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 1, 2022.

Calvert Street Temporary Closure
This Saturday, a portion of Calvert Street will close for a crane lift operation.
On Saturday, April 30, 2022, Calvert Street will be closed to through traffic between Redwood and Baltimore Streets from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with detours in effect, weather permitting.

Central Avenue Temporary Closure
This Saturday, a portion of Central Avenue will close for a crane lift operation.
On Saturday, April 30, 2022, Central Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Fleet Street and Eastern Avenue from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with detours in effect, weather permitting.

Lane Closure Along Portion of Howard Street
This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Howard Street for a crane lift operation.
On Saturday, April 30, 2022, a temporary right lane closure will be implemented along Howard Street between 20th and Dolphin Streets from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Woodridge Road Temporary Closure
This Saturday, a portion of Woodridge Road will close for BGE utility work.
On Saturday, April 30, 2022, Woodridge Road will be closed to through traffic between Wildwood Parkway and Lyndhurst Street from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting. Local traffic will be maintained for area residents.

Traffic Modifications for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar
On Sunday, traffic modifications will be in effect for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar, which is held under the Jones Falls Expressway along Saratoga Street between Holliday and Gay Streets.
On Sunday, May 1, 2022 the following streets will be closed to through traffic from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with detours in effect:
- Hillen Street from Fallsway to Holliday Street
- Holliday Street from Pleasant Street to Saratoga Street
- Holliday Street at Pleasant Street off ramp left lane closure

Lane Closures Along the Jones Falls Expressway
On Sunday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along the Jones Falls Expressway this weekend for street cleaning activities.
On Sunday, May 1, 2022, temporary right lane closures will be implemented along the northbound and southbound Jones Falls Expressway between Fayette Street and the county line from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.
