Lane Closures Along the Jones Falls Expressway

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that temporary lane closures will be implemented along the Jones Falls Expressway this weekend for street lighting work, camera testing and cleaning activities.

On Saturday, February 26, 2022, temporary right lane closures will be implemented along the northbound Jones Falls Expressway between the Madison Street entrance ramp and the county line from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting. 

Then on Sunday, February 27, 2022, the following lane closures will be implemented:

• Left lane closures along both the northbound and southbound Jones Falls Expressway between Fayette Street and the county line from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Right lane closures along the northbound Jones Falls Expressway between Northern Parkway and the county line from approximately 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Hilton Parkway Lane Closures

This weekend, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Hilton Parkway for cleaning activities.

On Saturday, February 26 and Sunday, February 27, 2022, temporary lane closures will be implemented along both northbound and southbound Hilton Parkway between Edmondson Avenue and North Avenue from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

E. Monument Street Crane Lift Operation

This Saturday, a portion of E. Monument Street will be temporarily closed for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, February 26, 2022, E. Monument Street will be closed to through traffic between Broadway and Rutland Avenue from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect, weather permitting.

S. Exeter Street Crane Lift Operation

This Saturday, a portion of S. Exeter Street will be temporarily closed for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, February 26, 2022, S. Exeter Street will be closed to through traffic between Fleet and Aliceanna Streets from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect, weather permitting.

Lane Closures and Traffic Flagging Operation at Intersection of 32^nd Street and Greenmount Avenue

This Saturday, temporary lane closures and traffic flagging operations will be implemented at the intersection of 32^nd Street and Greenmount Avenue for traffic signal activation.

On Saturday, February 26, 2022, temporary lane closures will be implemented at the intersection of 32^nd Street and Greenmount Avenue from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.  In addition, a traffic flagging operation will be implemented to direct motorists through the work zone.

W. 20th Street Crane Lift Operation

This Saturday, a portion of W. 20th Street will be temporarily closed for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, February 26, 2022, W. 20th Street will be closed to through traffic between Maryland Avenue and Charles Street from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect, weather permitting.

E. 23rd Street Crane Lift Operation

This Saturday, a portion of E. 23rd Street will be temporarily closed for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, February 26, 2022, E. 23rd Street will be closed to through traffic between Charles and Lovegrove Streets from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect, weather permitting.
