Weekend Lane Closures Along MD-295
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that temporary lane closures will be implemented along MD-295 this weekend for cleaning activities.
On Saturday, February 12 and Sunday, February 13, 2022, temporary lane closures will be implemented along both northbound and southbound MD-295 between Hamburg Street and the county line from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day, weather permitting.
In addition, the Monroe Street exit ramps from MD-295 will also temporarily close on Sunday, February 13, 2022 with detours in effect.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Lane Closures Along the Jones Falls Expressway
On Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along the Jones Falls Expressway for street lighting work.
On Saturday, February 12, 2022, temporary right lane closures will be implemented along the northbound Jones Falls Expressway between Falls Road and the county line from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Traffic Modifications for Cupid’s Undie Run
On Saturday, traffic modifications will be in effect for Cupid’s Undie Run which will be held in the vicinity of the Inner Harbor.
The run kicks off from Power Plant Live at 34 Market Place and proceeds south along Market Place, then across Pratt Street to the promenade. Participants will follow the promenade to the turn-around point at Light Street, and follow this same route back to Power Plant Live to finish.
In preparation for the event, the following traffic modifications will occur on Saturday, February 12, 2022:
- Market Place closed to traffic between Water and Pratt Streets from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Market Street lane closure between Water and Pratt Streets from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Pratt Street lane closure between Light Street and Market Place from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Parking will also be restricted along both sides of Market Place from Pratt to Water Streets during this time.
Motorists should be aware that temporary traffic stops may be implemented along the race route for the safety of participants. Commuters traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Temporary Closure of E. Preston Street
This Saturday, a portion of E. Preston Street will be temporarily closed for underground utility work.
On Saturday, February 12, 2022, E. Preston Street will be closed to through traffic between Greenmount Avenue and Fallsway from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect, weather permitting.

Baltimore Street Crane Lift Operation
This Saturday, a portion of Baltimore Street will be temporarily closed for a crane lift operation.
On Saturday, February 12, 2022, Baltimore Street will be closed to through traffic between Calvert Street and Guilford Avenue from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect, weather permitting.

Central Avenue Crane Lift Operation
This Saturday, a portion of Central Avenue will be temporarily closed for a crane lift operation.
On Saturday, February 12, 2022, Central Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Eastern Avenue and Fleet Street from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect, weather permitting.

McElderry Street Crane Lift Operation
This Saturday, a portion of McElderry Street will be temporarily closed for a crane lift operation.
On Saturday, February 12, 2022, McElderry Street will be closed to through traffic between Wolfe and Washington Streets from approximately 4:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect, weather permitting.

W. 34th Street Crane Lift Operation
This Saturday, a portion of W. 34th Street will be temporarily closed for a crane lift operation.
On Saturday, February 12, 2022, W. 34th Street will be closed to through traffic between Roland Avenue and Pleasant Place from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect, weather permitting.
