

Multiple Road Closures Downtown in the Central Business District on Sunday
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that multiple road closures will be implemented downtown in the Central Business District on Sunday for a helicopter/crane lift operation.
On Sunday, January 30, 2022, the following roadways will be closed to through traffic from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with detours in effect, weather permitting:
Local access will be maintained for area residents and businesses, but motorists should be aware that traffic stops will occur in the Central Business District on Sunday morning as operations progress. Traffic in the central business district will be allowed through the closure areas when possible during these times, but motorists traveling in this vicinity should expect significant delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Charles Street Lane Closures
This Sunday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Charles Street for a crane lift operation.
On Sunday, January 30, 2022, lane closures will be implemented along Charles Street between Pratt and Lombard Streets from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting. One lane of through traffic will remain open for motorists during this time.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
