Weekend Road Closures for December 3-5, 2021
Weekend Road Closures and Parking Restrictions in Fell’s Point
This weekend, temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be implemented in Fell’s Point.
Starting on Friday, December 3, 2021 and continuing each evening through Sunday, December 5, 2021, all through traffic will be restricted in Fell’s Point from approximately 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. within the following geographical boundaries:
- South of Aliceanna Street
- North of Thames Street
- East of S. Bond Street
- West of S. Ann Street
Various parking restrictions will also be implemented in Fell’s Point throughout the weekend. Visitors and residents should pay close attention to all posted parking restrictions and avoid parking in restricted areas. Parking restrictions will be strictly enforced for everyone’s safety. Residents with ‘Area 16’ Residential Parking Permits will be allowed to access areas closed to through traffic.
Motorists should be aware that additional road closures and parking restrictions may be implemented in the vicinity of Fell’s Point throughout the weekend if needed.
Lane Closures Along MD-295
This weekend, temporary lane closures will be implemented along MD-295 for maintenance activities.
On Saturday, December 4, 2021, temporary right lane closures will be implemented along northbound and southbound MD-295 between Hamburg Street and the county line from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.
Then on Sunday, December 5, 2021, temporary left lane closures will be implemented along this stretch of MD-295 from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Lane Closures Along Orleans Street
This weekend, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Orleans Street for median maintenance work.
On Saturday, December 4 and Sunday, December 5, 2021, temporary left lane closures will be implemented along eastbound and westbound Orleans Street between Caroline and Wolfe Streets from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day, weather permitting.

Lane Closures Along the Jones Falls Expressway
This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along the northbound Jones Falls Expressway for cleaning activities.
On Saturday, December 4, 2021, temporary left lane closures will be implemented along the northbound Jones Falls Expressway between Falls Road and the county line from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Traffic Modifications for the Patterson Park 5K Fun Run and Homebrew Contest
This Saturday, temporary traffic modifications will be implemented for the Patterson Park 5K Fun Run and Homebrew Contest. The event takes place in Patterson Park starting at 11:00 a.m.
In preparation for the event, the following streets will be closed on Saturday, December 4, 2021 with detours and parking restrictions in effect:
- N. Belnord Avenue between E. Baltimore Street and E. Fairmount Avenue – 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- S. Linwood Avenue between Eastern Avenue and E. Pratt Street – 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Hanover and Light Streets from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with parking restrictions in effect, weather permitting. One lane of through traffic will remain open for motorists through the work zone during this time.

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of W. Baltimore Street for a crane lift operation.
On Saturday, December 4, 2021, temporary lane closures will be implemented along W. Baltimore Street between Pine and Greene Streets from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with parking restrictions in effect, weather permitting. One lane of through traffic will remain open for motorists through the work zone during this time.

W. North Avenue Lane Closures
This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of W. North Avenue for a crane lift operation.
On Saturday, December 4, 2021, temporary lane closures will be implemented along W. North Avenue between N. Pulaski and N. Payton Streets from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with parking restrictions in effect, weather permitting.

Portion of E. 34th Street to Close for Crane Lift
This Saturday, a portion of E. 34th Street will temporarily close for a crane lift operation.
On Saturday, December 4, 2021, E. 34th Street will be closed to through traffic between N. Charles and St. Paul Streets from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with detours and parking restrictions in effect.

Traffic Modifications for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar
This Sunday, traffic modifications will be in effect for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar, which is held under the Jones Falls Expressway along Saratoga Street between Holliday and Gay Streets.
On Sunday, December 5, 2021 the following streets will be closed to through traffic from approximately 5:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with detours in effect:
- Hillen Street from Fallsway to Holliday Street
- Holliday Street from Pleasant Street to Saratoga Street
- Holliday Street at Pleasant Street off ramp left lane closure

Traffic Modifications for the Mayor’s Christmas Parade in Hampden
This Sunday, temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be in effect for the Mayor’s annual Christmas Parade. The parade will be held in Hampden and kicks off at 1:00 p.m.
The parade will begin at the intersection of Falls Road and Cold Spring Lane and will travel south along Falls Road, east on W. 36th Street, north on Chestnut Avenue, and west on W. 37th Street where it will disband.
In preparation for the event, the following streets will be closed on Sunday, December 5, 2021 with detours and parking restrictions in effect:
- Falls Road from Hillside Road to W. 36th Street – 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- The Falls Road Exit (Exit 8) from northbound Jones Falls Expressway – 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. Motorists should use the Northern Parkway Exit during this time.
- W. 36th Street from Falls Road to Chestnut Avenue – 12:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Chestnut Avenue from W. 37th Street to W. 34th Street – 12:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
During the event, parking will be restricted along the parade route. In addition, temporary traffic stops may be implemented for the safety of parade participants and all side streets intersecting the parade route will remain closed during the event. Motorists should be on the watch for pedestrians while traveling in this vicinity and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
