Portion of Sharp Street to Close for Utility Work

Sharp Street between Pratt and Conway Streets to remain closed for

approximately 6 months

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of Sharp Street will soon close for utility work.

Starting on or about Thursday, November 18, 2021, S. Sharp Street will be closed to through traffic between W. Pratt and W. Conway Streets with detours and parking restrictions in effect.  This portion of Sharp Street will remain closed for approximately six months while utility work is completed.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Detour:

Vehicles traveling eastbound on W. Pratt Street or southbound on Hopkins Place destined for southbound S. Sharp Street will be detoured east on Pratt Street, right (southbound) on Light Street, right (westbound) onto E. Conway Street, back to S. Sharp Street.
