The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of northbound Broadway will close for utility work.

Starting at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 30, 2021 northbound Broadway will be closed to through traffic with detours in effect.  This portion of northbound Broadway will remain closed until utility work is complete, which is anticipated to take 4-6 weeks.

Detour signs will be posted in the area to alert motorists of the closure.  Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Detour Route:

Northbound Broadway traffic will be detoured right onto Chase Street, left on Washington Street, and left on Federal Street back to Broadway.
