

Traffic Modifications for the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico Race Course
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the road closures and traffic modifications in effect for the 146th running of the Preakness Stakes which will take place on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Pimlico Race Course.
Patrons attending the event are strongly urged to carpool or use public transportation. Citizens that choose to drive to Pimlico Race Course should park at commercial lots and avoid parking in area neighborhoods. All posted parking restrictions will be strictly enforced and vehicles parked in violation are subject to being ticketed and towed. Vehicles that are relocated during the event will be taken to Cylburn Avenue just south of Northern Parkway. Citizens with questions concerning the location of their vehicle should call 311.
Motorists traveling in northwest Baltimore may experience delays throughout the day and should be on the watch for pedestrians and changing traffic patterns while driving.
In preparation for the event, the following traffic modifications will be implemented:
Friday, May 14, 2021 starting at 5:00 a.m. until Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 11:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Traffic Modifications for Weekend Baltimore Orioles Home Games
This weekend, temporary traffic modifications will be in effect for the Baltimore Orioles home games that will be held at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
In preparation for Friday evening’s game, the following streets will be closed on Friday, May 14, 2021 starting at approximately 4:00 p.m.:
In addition, the following parking restrictions will be implemented on Friday, May 14, 2021 beginning at 4:00 p.m.:
The road closures and parking restrictions listed above will also be implemented for the Orioles home games on Saturday, May 15, 2021 starting at approximately 4:00 p.m. and on Sunday, May 16, 2021 starting at approximately 10:00 a.m.
Transportation Enforcement Officers will be stationed at key intersections to assist with the movement of traffic in the downtown area. Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians, especially when approaching designated crosswalks.
Jefferson Street Closure for Crane Operation
This Saturday, a portion of Jefferson Street will be closed for a crane lift operation.
On Saturday, May 15, 2021, Jefferson Street will be closed to through traffic between Wolfe and Washington Streets from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. with detours in effect, weather permitting.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Park Avenue Closure for Crane Operation
This Saturday, a portion of Park Avenue will be closed for a crane lift operation.
On Saturday, May 15, 2021, Park Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Mulberry and Franklin Streets from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with detours in effect, weather permitting.

Traffic Modifications for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar
This Sunday, traffic modifications will be in effect for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar, which is held under the Jones Falls Expressway along Saratoga Street between Holliday and Gay Streets.
On Sunday, May 16, 2021 the following streets will be closed to through traffic from 5:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with detours in effect:
