Lane Closures Along the Southbound Jones Falls Expressway

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that temporary lane closures will be implemented along the southbound Jones Falls Expressway this Saturday for street lighting repair work. 

On Saturday, March 27, 2021, temporary right lane closures will be implemented along the southbound Jones Falls Expressway between Cold Spring Lane and North Avenue from 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.  In addition, the access ramp to the southbound Jones Falls Expressway from southbound Falls Road will also be closed during this time.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

N. Broadway Closure for Crane Operation

This Saturday, a portion of northbound N. Broadway will be closed for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, March 27, 2021, northbound N. Broadway will be closed to through traffic between Monument and Madison Streets from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect, weather permitting. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Monument Street Closure for Crane Operation

This Saturday, a portion of Monument Street will be closed for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, March 27, 2021, Monument Street will be closed to through traffic between Fallsway and Forrest Street from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with detours in effect, weather permitting. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Water Street Crane Operation

This Saturday, a portion of Water Street will be closed for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, March 27, 2021, Water Street will be closed to through traffic between South and Calvert Streets from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with detours in effect, weather permitting.

S. Calhoun Street Lane Closures

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of S. Calhoun Street for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, March 27, 2021, temporary lane closures will be implemented along S. Calhoun Street between Boyd and Hollins Streets from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  A traffic flagging operation will be implemented during this time to direct motorists through the work zone.

Redwood Street Crane Operation

This Saturday, a portion of Redwood Street will be closed for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, March 27, 2021, Redwood Street will be closed to through traffic between Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Pine Street from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with detours in effect, weather permitting.
