Lane Closures Along the Jones Falls Expressway

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that temporary lane closures will be implemented along the Jones Falls Expressway this Saturday. 

On Saturday, March 20, 2021, temporary left lane closures will be implemented along the following portions of the Jones Falls Expressway from 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting:  

• Northbound Jones Falls Expressway between Fayette and Chase Streets for streetlighting work
• Southbound Jones Falls Expressway between the city/county line and Chase Street for cleaning activities

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Hilton Parkway Lane Closures

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Hilton Parkway for cleaning activities.

On Saturday, March 20, 2021, temporary right lane closures will be implemented along Hilton Parkway between Edmondson and North Avenues from 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Monroe Street Closure for Crane Operation

This Saturday, a portion of Monroe Street will be closed for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, March 20, 2021, Monroe Street will be closed to through traffic between Lexington and Vine Streets starting at 7:00 a.m. with detours in effect, weather permitting.  This portion of Monroe Street will remain closed until approximately 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 21, 2021. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

W. Baltimore Street Closure for Crane Operation

This Saturday, a portion of W. Baltimore Street will be closed for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, March 20, 2021, W. Baltimore Street will be closed to through traffic between Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Pine Street from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with detours in effect, weather permitting. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

W. 28th Street Closure for Crane Operation

This Saturday, a portion of W. 28th Street will be closed for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, March 20, 2021, W. 28th Street will be closed to through traffic between Charles Street and Maryland Avenue from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with detours in effect, weather permitting.
