Hanover Street Bridge Openings Scheduled for Saturday, January 9, 2021 between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that temporary openings of the Hanover Street Bridge/Vietnam Veterans Memorial Bridge will occur on Saturday for inspection activities. 

On Saturday, January 9, 2021, temporary openings of the Hanover Street Bridge are scheduled to occur between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.  Each bridge opening is expected to take about ten minutes, and several openings will occur on Saturday during this time.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity will experience temporary delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Lane Closures at the Intersection of I-395, Howard and Conway Streets

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented at the intersection of I-395, Howard Street and Conway Street for the removal of jersey barriers. 

On Saturday, January 9, 2021, the following lane closures will be implemented at the I-395/Howard Street/Conway Street intersection from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.:

• I-395 northbound left lane closure
• S. Howard Street southbound left lane closure
• W. Conway Street westbound left lane closure

Lane Closures Along Eutaw Street

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of southbound Eutaw Street for a crane lift operation. 

On Saturday, January 9, 2021, southbound Eutaw Street will be closed to through traffic between Franklin and Mulberry Streets from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect, weather permitting.

Eastern Avenue Traffic Flagging Operation This Saturday

This Saturday, a traffic flagging operation will be implemented along a portion of Eastern Avenue for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, January 9, 2021 a traffic flagging operation will be implemented along Eastern Avenue between Conkling Street and Highland Avenue from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Alternating traffic will be flagged through the work zone during this time.

Harford Road Nightly Lane Closures

This weekend, nightly lane closures will be implemented along a portion of southbound Harford Road for utility work. 

On Friday, January 8 through Sunday, January 10, 2021, a right lane closure will be implemented along southbound Harford Road between Overland Avenue and Argonne Drive from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight each evening, weather permitting.
