The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of Edison Highway/the Edison Highway Bridge will be closed overnight for bridge rehabilitation work.

On Wednesday, January 6, 2021, the Edison Highway Bridge will be closed to through traffic between Madison and Biddle Streets starting at 9:00 p.m. with detours in effect, weather permitting.  The bridge will remain closed until approximately 5:00 a.m. the following morning. 

Variable message and detour signs will be placed in the area to alert motorists of the overnight closures.  Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
