Lane Closures Along the Jones Falls Expressway

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation (BCDOT) would like to advise motorists that temporary lane closures will be implemented along the northbound Jones Falls Expressway this Saturday for streetlighting work. 

On Saturday, December 12, 2020, right lane closures will be implemented along the northbound Jones Falls Expressway between the Madison Street entrance ramp and Northern Parkway from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.  In addition, the Madison Street entrance ramp to the northbound Jones Falls Expressway will be closed during this time.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Lane and Ramp Closures Along MD-295

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along MD-295 for construction activities as part of the on-going Triple Bridges Replacement Project.

On Saturday, December 12, 2020, a single lane closure will be implemented along northbound MD-295 in the vicinity of the Annapolis Road Bridge from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Then on Sunday, temporary lane and ramp closures will be implemented along MD-295 for cleaning activities.

On Sunday, December 13, 2020, temporary right lane closures will be implemented along MD-295 between Bush Street and the Annapolis Road Bridge from 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.  In addition, the following ramps will alternately close during this time:

• Monroe Street exit ramp from northbound MD-295 and entrance ramp to southbound MD-295
• Westport Street entrance ramps to northbound and southbound MD-295
• Manokin Street entrance ramp to southbound MD-295
• Annapolis Road exit ramp from southbound MD-295

Intersection of Interstate Avenue and O’Donnell Street to Close This Weekend

This weekend, the intersection of Interstate Avenue and O’Donnell Street will close to traffic for concrete roadway repair work. 

Starting at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2020, the intersection of Interstate Avenue and O’Donnell Street will be closed to through traffic with detours in effect, weather permitting.  The intersection will remain closed throughout the weekend, and traffic utilizing the I-95 O’Donnell Street exit will be able to bare to the right to access westbound O’Donnell Street.   The intersection will reopen to traffic at approximately 5:00 a.m. on Monday, December 14, 2020. 

Variable message signs have been deployed in this area to alert motorists of the closure.  Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Madison Street Overnight Closure

This Friday, a portion of Madison Street will be closed overnight for a crane operation.

On Friday, December 11, 2020, Madison Street will be closed between Wolfe Street and Rutland Avenue starting at 8:00 p.m.  This portion of Madison Street will remain closed until approximately 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020.

Portion of Guilford Avenue to Close for Crane Operation

This Saturday, a portion of Guilford Avenue will close to traffic for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, December 12, 2020, Guilford Avenue will be closed to through traffic between 31^st and 32^nd Streets from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with detours in effect.

Portion of Madison Street to Close on Saturday

This Saturday, a portion of Madison Street will be closed to traffic for building demolition activities.

On Saturday, December 12, 2020, Madison Street will be closed to through traffic between Greenmount Avenue and Constitution Street from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with detours in effect.

Linden Avenue Crane Operation

This Saturday, a portion of Linden Avenue will be closed to traffic for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, December 12, 2020, Linden Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Armory Place and Madison Avenue from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with detours in effect.

W. 20^th Street Crane Operation

This Saturday, a portion of W. 20^th Street will be closed to traffic for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, December 12, 2020, W. 20^th Street will be closed to through traffic between Charles Street and Maryland Avenue from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with detours in effect.
