The Baltimore City Department of Transportation (BCDOT) would like to advise motorists that the intersection of Interstate Avenue and O’Donnell Street will close this weekend for roadway repair work. 

Starting at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2020, the intersection of Interstate Avenue and O’Donnell Street will be closed to through traffic with detours in effect, weather permitting.  The intersection will remain closed throughout the weekend as concrete repairs are made and will reopen to traffic at approximately 5:00 a.m. on Monday, December 7, 2020. 

During the closure, motorists traveling on northbound Interstate Avenue will be able to access eastbound O’Donnell Street, and access to I-95 north from westbound O’Donnell Street will be maintained.  All other through traffic at this intersection will be detoured.

Variable message signs have been deployed in this area to alert motorists of the weekend closure.  Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
