Revised Dates: Pedestrian Bridge Between Piers 4 and 5 to Temporarily Close October 7-8th

Thursday Oct 1st, 2020

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise residents and visitors to the Inner Harbor that the Pedestrian Bridge located between Piers 4 and 5 south of Pratt Street will be temporarily closed for the moving of the USS Taney.

Starting at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, the pedestrian bridge between Piers 4 and 5 located south of Pratt Street along the Inner Harbor will be closed, weather permitting.  During this closure, the pedestrian bridge will be removed so that the USS Taney can be relocated, and once the ship is moved, the pedestrian bridge will then be reinstalled.  This work is expected to be complete in the afternoon on Thursday, October 8, 2020 and the pedestrian bridge will reopened at that time.

During the closure, detour signs will be posted in the area redirecting pedestrians to utilize Pratt Street in order to cross between the piers.
