Intermittent Lane Closures Continue Through September Along MD-295 for the Triple Bridges Replacement Project

Wednesday Sep 2nd, 2020

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that daily lane closures will be implemented along MD-295 near the Annapolis Road Bridge as part of the Triple Bridges Replacement Project.

As construction continues on the Annapolis Road Bridge, daily lane closures may be implemented along both northbound and southbound MD-295 in the vicinity of the bridge from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day as needed through the month of September, weather permitting.  One lane of through traffic will remain open for motorists during these times.

The daily lane closures along MD-295 may cause traffic congestion and delays, so citizens should allow additional travel time if commuting along this portion of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.  Motorists should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Information and construction updates regarding the Triple Bridges Replacement Project along MD-295 can be found at 295TripleBridges.com.
