Portion of Westbound Franklintown Road Now Closed

Roadway to remain closed for approximately two months to complete repairs

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of westbound Franklintown Road will temporarily close starting this afternoon for repair work.

Starting today, Wednesday, July 8, 2020 westbound Franklintown Road will be closed to through traffic between Winans Way and Forest Park Avenue with detours in effect.  Variable message and detour signs will be posted in the area to alert motorists of the closure. 

This portion of westbound Franklintown Road is expected to remain closed for approximately two months until repairs are complete.  Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
