Portion of Eastern Avenue to Close This Weekend in Little Italy

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of Eastern Avenue will close this weekend for the dismantling of a tower crane.

Starting at 12:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 08, 2020, Eastern Avenue will be closed to through traffic between President Street and Central Avenue, weather permitting, with detours and parking restrictions in effect.  This portion of Eastern Avenue will remain closed until approximately 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 09, 2020. 

Signs will be posted in the area to alert motorists of the closure and detour routes will be posted.  Access to local restaurants and businesses will be maintained during these times.  Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes. 

Lane Closures Along the Jones Falls Expressway

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of the Jones Falls Expressway (JFX) for street lighting activities. 

On Saturday, February 08, 2020, temporary lane closures will be implemented along the Jones Falls Expressway between Fayette and Chase Streets from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Lane Closures Along Hilton Parkway

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along Hilton Parkway for maintenance work.  On Saturday, February 08, 2020, temporary lane closures will be implemented along Hilton Parkway between North Avenue and Hilton Street from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
