The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of Eastern Avenue will close this weekend for the dismantling of a tower crane.

Starting at 12:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 08, 2020, Eastern Avenue will be closed to through traffic between President Street and Central Avenue, weather permitting, with detours and parking restrictions in effect.  This portion of Eastern Avenue will remain closed until approximately 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 09, 2020. 

Signs will be posted in the area to alert motorists of the closure and detour routes will be posted.  Access to local restaurants and businesses will be maintained during these times. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
