Park Heights Avenue Now Closed at Strathmore Avenue

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of Park Heights Avenue is now closed due to signal outages.  At this time, Park Heights Avenue is closed to through traffic in both directions at the intersection of W. Strathmore Avenue.  In addition, W. Strathmore Avenue is closed from Park Heights to Wallis Avenue. 

DOT crews will be working throughout the night to replace the traffic signals at this location to restore operations.  Traffic in this area will continue to be detoured while the repair work is being completed.  It is unclear at this time when the intersection will be reopened, but it is anticipated that the intersection will remain closed through tomorrow afternoon.  

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should plan additional travel time and are strongly encouraged to use alternate routes.

We recommend the following detours:

Northbound and Southbound Park Heights Avenue traffic to detour to Reisterstown Rd.
