Lane Closures Along the Jones Falls Expressway

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that temporary lane and ramp closures will be implemented along the Jones Falls Expressway for maintenance activities.

On Saturday, March 23, 2019 temporary left lane closures will be implemented along both the northbound and southbound Jones Falls Expressway between Fayette Street and the 41^st Street Bridge from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  In addition to the lane closures, the entrance ramp from westbound Coldspring Lane to the southbound Jones Falls Expressway will also temporarily close during this time.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Haven Street Construction Work

This weekend, a portion of Haven Street will temporarily close for building construction work.  On Saturday, March 23 and Sunday March 24, 2019, Haven Street will be closed to through traffic between Hudson and Dillon Streets from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day, with detours and parking restrictions in effect. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes. 

Redwood Street Crane Operation

This weekend, a portion of Redwood Street will temporarily close for a crane lift operation.  On Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24, 2019, Redwood Street will be closed to through traffic between Paca and Eutaw Streets from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day with detours and parking restrictions in effect. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes. 

Wolfe Street Lane Closures

On Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Wolfe Street for a crane lift operation.  On Saturday, March 23, 2019, lane closures will be implemented along Wolfe Street between Jefferson and Orleans Streets from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  At least one lane of through traffic will remain open for motorists during this time.

Fayette Street Lane Closures

On Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Fayette Street for a crane lift operation.  On Saturday, March 23, 2019, lane closures will be implemented along Fayette Street between Eutaw and Greene Streets from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  At least one lane of through traffic will remain open for motorists during this time.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes. 

Covington Street Lane Closures

On Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Covington Street for a crane lift operation.  On Saturday, March 23, 2019, lane closures will be implemented along Covington Street between Cross and Gittings Streets from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  A traffic flagging operation will be implemented during this time to direct traffic through the work zone.
