Portion of Old Bosley Road to Temporarily Close in Baltimore County

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of Old Bosley Road in Baltimore County will temporarily close for storm drain culvert construction and roadway repairs.

Starting on or about Wednesday, January 02, 2019, Old Bosley Road will be closed to through traffic between Pot Spring Road and Dulaney Valley Road with detours in effect, weather permitting.  Signs will be placed in the area to alert motorists of the closure.  Local access will be maintained for area residents and businesses during construction.

This portion of Old Bosley Road is expected to remain closed for approximately four weeks, weather conditions permitting.  Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Suggested Detour Routes:

  • Eastbound Old Bosley Road traffic will be detoured southbound on Dulaney Valley Road, east on Timonium Road, and north on Pot Spring Road back to Old Bosley Road.
  • Westbound Old Bosley Road traffic will be detoured onto southbound Pot Spring Road, west on Timonium Road, and north on Dulaney Valley Road back to Old Bosley Road.
