The Department of Transportation Announces Temporary Closure of the Pulaski Highway Impound Facility

BALTIMORE, MD — Today, the Baltimore City Department of Transportation (DOT) announced the temporary closure of the Pulaski Highway Impound Facility. Due to potential COVID-19 exposure the closure may last up to two weeks.

As a precautionary measure, the Baltimore City Department of Transportation's Towing Division will suspend all vehicle retrievals from its Pulaski Highway Impound Facility as of Thursday, May 14, 2020. 

DOT is currently ensuring that the Pulaski Highway Impound Facility is cleaned and disinfected.

During this time, the main offices of the City's impound facilities located at 6700 Pulaski Highway will be closed to the public, and vehicle storage fees will be frozen so that additional storage fees will not accrue.
